Wendy “Stormy” Steele was born in 1968 in Toledo, Ohio. Her passion for writing began around the age of 18 when she started writing song lyrics. After attending the University of Toledo she moved to Atlanta, Ga. and pursued a career in the entertainment industry while working other odd jobs, eventually settling for a career in Telecommunications.

Unhappy with the demands of the entertainment industry (music and acting) with family being her first priority, Stormy searched for other ways to use her creativity. This led to writing novels. Behind The Screen is Stormy Steele’s first novel. The focus is on Internet Dating and this steamy novel dispels the myths about finding love online. Behind The Screen became a Cush City bestseller one month after it’s release, and is available nationwide at mega chain and independent bookstores. It’s also available at many libraries.

Stormy is actively promoting her novel by touring the U.S. She has been a presenter, and/or featured author for panel discussions for events such as: ALA , BEA, Miami Book Fair, Harlem Book Fair, Atlanta Book Festival, Columbus Oh. Book Festival, LA Times Festival of Books, Houston Expo, the National Book Club Conference, and The AABCS Summit at Sea Cruise just to name a few. Many book clubs are now selecting Behind The Screen as their pick of the month and invite Stormy to their meetings.

Also dedicated to helping other aspiring writers enter the literary industry, Stormy conducts seminars and is the director and founder of The Literary Source Inc—a non-profit writers organization. Currently working on two other novels, she lives in Atlanta , Ga. with her husband and two kids.
